An Open Letter to Curtis

Curtis -

You are the King's son. When you became a Christian, God left you in the care of your mother and father, as his nursemaid and his regent. But, you are the King's son!

When you became a man, by whatever means that discovery came upon you, you became fully and independently the King's son. The King's son! And nothing, and no one, can take that destiny away from you!

For this you were born! And no one, neither Satan nor yourself, can remove from you your destiny, nor your duties, whatever the King adopted you for.

You were born for His service. Through fire, water, blood, spirit, and battle you have been, are being, prepared for that work He created in advance for you to do. Not even His greatest enemy, nor his earthly regents and ambassadors, can remove from you that calling, that reason for being, that life purpose.

No victory, no defeat, can take that awesome ministry away!

No injury, self inflicted or otherwise, no crippled walk, no clicking tongue, can, nor shall, prevent your coronation to your God given mission --- because, as an adult, as a Christian, you are Curtis _______, YOU are the King's son.

More Than Skin On Skin Sex

Sex is as much spiritual mystery as physical fact. . . . We must not pursue the kind of sex that avoids commitment and intimacy, leaving us more lonely than ever—the kind of sex that can never "become one." . . . In sexual sin we violate the sacredness of our own bodies, these bodies that were made for. . . ."becoming one" with another. Or didn't you realize that --

Your body is a sacred place...

A Lament For Those Strong Kansas Men

A LAMENT FOR THE LAND

A lament for those strong Kansas men who kill all emotion, leaving body, mind, and spirit with no soul in between.

And why not! When emotion makes your heart, your mind, break. Cuts life away from the spirit and soul so that unless the soul dies, the spirit will also break and die as even the physical heart begins to tighten in unendurable pain.

And then -- there are the men whose spirit has been broken by that enemy their fathers never prepared them shake, to master, - emotion. Men barely boys with no spirit, no soul, only a physical body - battered so that they at least feel alive - and a mind that can function only as long as no one disturbs the clockwork, a dull hum that at its core refuses to reflect, to live, to think, lest their mind die too.

And their sons - the generation whose fathers never taught them to master the mind, body, soul, or spirit. Mere boys in the bodies of men. Who have not even a will, for there is nothing left of manhood to give except an erected penis. And -oh - that organ is a master of diminishing returns whose will can not be fulfilled.

May God help the next sons - their sons! For what will be left when that which is animal dies.
